The email list
If you subscribe, we collect your email address and nothing else. We use it only to send the newsletter, and we don’t sell it or share it with anyone.
- Confirmation: you’re added only after you click the link in the confirmation email we send when you sign up.
- Where it’s stored: the list is kept and sent by Kit, our email provider. Kit records when emails are opened and which links are clicked, which tells us what readers find useful.
- Unsubscribing: every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, which removes you right away. You can also email us and we’ll remove you and delete your address.
Site analytics
We count page views with Umami. It uses no cookies, doesn’t collect personal information, and doesn’t follow you to other sites. We see totals, such as how many people read a page and which site sent them.
Email you send us
If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can reply and follow up. We don’t add you to the email list unless you sign up yourself.
